I’m A Celeb viewers condemn outrageous betrayal in camp

What an outrageous betrayal!

| Updated:

I’m A Celebrity campmates Iain Lee and and Amir Khan ended up in the doghouse when they took part in a cat-themed Dingo Dollar Challenge…

The duo arrived at the Jungle Pawn Shop where they saw the doors closed, but a cat flap open… and where they faced a riddle that read: ‘One is a cat that is totally blind, the other their eyes with gold to find, the screen will tell you where the gold is stored, then exchange your swag and the dollars are yours.’

“I think what this means Amir is that you have to wear this cat outfit, I think you will look cool in it,” said Iain.

Putting on the huge cat head which he couldn’t see anything through, Amir said: “This is the first time I’ve put a cat mask on or even been a cat.”

What followed was a trip inside the shop and Iain guiding Amir, the cat burglar, around it.

Obviously, it turned into something of a farce… but they emerged jubilant with their dollars.

Iain summed it up, joking: “I talked Amir around to the cash register, he knocked over a few things on the way, thanks mate, talked him back out through the cat flap and we escaped with our swag.”

The pair then arrived at the Outback Shack, and they chose strawberries and cream over gold coins.

Back in camp, Vanessa answered the call with the all-important question to snaffle the prize. She was asked: “According to a recent survey, what percentage of British people who had had cosmetic surgery say they regret it, 65% or 75%?”

Becky said: “I know people who have had cosmetic surgery, I’ve had cosmetic surgery before; I didn’t regret it and I don’t think any of my friends did.”

Shappi said she knew three people who did regret it. They eventually voted in favour of 65%.

It was the right answer – Iain and Amir won strawberries and cream. Hurrah.

And then the naughty pair decided to eat them all by themselves and agreed to pretend the answer had been incorrect.

“This is the worst thing we’ve ever done,” said Iain. Some guilt, at least!

Back at camp, they admitted their behaviour to the Bush Telegraph – and Amir joked he’d threatened to beat Iain up if he hadn’t gone along with their feasting.

But back in camp, they told everyone else they had failed the challenge. Outrageous!

Guilt later got the better of Iain later – and he confessed their devilish deed.

“We won the strawberries and cream, I thought it would be really funny to eat them all on my own, I am not joking, I am beyond shame and cannot live with this anymore,” he admitted.

Jamie chipped in: “No there is no way you would do that to your mates, no way.”

But Amir ‘fessed up too, and it went down like a lead balloon with their mates – although they were way cooler about it than we would’ve been.

As recompense, the naughty duo agreed to forego dinner, and the mood in camp was awful as everyone else chowed down on camel flank.

Oh dear.

Viewers were appalled, but of course!

Will the celebs put this betrayal behind them, or will trust issues linger and create seismic cracks in camp?
