I’m A Celeb viewers turn on Becky Vardy after she snaps at Ant and Dec

Did you catch what's ruffled feathers?

Ant & Dec are the main reason many of us tune into I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, right?

So when contestant Becky Vardy got a bit short with the boys on Wednesday night’s episode there were a fair few viewers who weren’t too impressed.

Some fans accused the WAG of being “rude” to Ant & Dec when they asked how she felt about guzzling stench soup in the latest Bushtucker Trial.

In Becky’s defence, we’d probably be none too happy in that situation either, so, we kinda get it.

So gross.

After she successfully ate the blended, fermented egg and won a meal for camp, the boys asked: “How was that?”

“I don’t like you two,” she replied. “That is just disgusting.”

“We didn’t cook it,” said Dec. “We just run the joint. Can you fill us in on what it tasted like?”

“Like gone off eggs,” she said.

“Rotten eggs?” queried Dec.

“No. Not like rotten eggs. Like gone off eggs,” retorted Becky. “Rotten eggs is too extreme.”

Well, some fans weren’t impressed with Becky’s attitude and (naturally) took to Twitter to air their views.

Of course, there were plenty more who tweeted they had newfound respect for Becky after she smashed the eating challenge in a no-nonsense manner.

She also had to chow down on sheep’s anus, crickets, cockroaches, mealworms, vomit fruit and the foot of an ostrich.

Brave girl!

Many jungle viewers lavished praise on Becky and Made In Chelsea’s Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo for successfully completing the Bushtucker Trial.

They won eight stars out of nine for camp, meaning for the first time since arriving in the jungle, everyone went to bed well-fed.

Meanwhile, Becky’s husband, footballer Jamie, was also among those hailing the star for completing the challenge.

He tweeted: “Bex & Toff absolutely smashed that trial.”

We agree!

I’m A Celebrity continues 9pm on ITV.
