I’m A Celeb fans furious with Iain Lee’s comment about women

Viewers aren't impressed

Radio DJ Iain Lee was a late entrant to the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle and he might not have won many fans tonight.

As the boys and girls went head-to-head in the battle of the sexes challenge, Iain was seen in the Bush Telegraph stating how much the boys wanted to win.

He didn’t seem to think they would have any problem winning over the girls and made his feelings perfectly clear.

“It’s boys versus girls and we are playing for a huge feast the likes of which has never been seen before,” he said.

“We’ve got a very strong team, Dennis has played for his country and Jamie is very focused and we’re going smash the women, were going to beat those girls. we’re going to teach them a lesson.”

Despite the fact it was said in a joking manner and all in the spirit of the competition, the comments didn’t go down well on Twitter with people believing he should have chosen his words more carefully.

There were some who felt he was making light of domestic violence.

With the girls desperate to win as much as the boys are, who will get the feast? And will Iain realise he might want to be a bit more careful in future?
