Hollyoaks stars Steph Waring and Adam Woodward have been very clear that there’s nothing going on between them in real life.
But on screen their alter-egos, Cindy Cunningham and Brody Hudson, are about to get closer.
Just a few weeks ago Steph, who plays Cindy, and Adam, AKA Brody, were the talk of the tabloids when they were forced to deny rumours that they were a couple.

“Don’t believe everything you read in the press,” tweeted Adam.
While Steph, who’s currently training for Dancing on Ice, wrote that she is “happily single”.
And she pointed out that the papers could have been confusing fiction with fact.

Seems Steph could be right, because in tonight’s E4 episode, Cindy has a huge argument with husband Dirk Savage.
So, in an effort to feel better about things, she decides to have some festive fun with handsome Brody.
But actually, while it looks like Cindy’s going to be the one who strays, it’s Dirk who’s doing the cheating.
He catches up with old-flame Myra and the pair end up in bed. Oops!
With crafty Milo Entwhistle still on the prowl, determined to ruin Dirk’s life, this could be just the ammunition he needs!
