Hollyoaks’ Kieron Richardson confirms soap exit as Amy’s killer is revealed

Things are getting juicy

The Amy Barnes murder storyline has been gripping us for a while now and it has been torture not knowing who killed her off. But all is set to be revealed soon, as Kieron Richardson explained on Good Morning Britain Today.

Kieron’s character Ste Hay is currently facing trial for Amy’s murder after she was killed on her wedding day earlier this year. Of course, there are several suspects that are in the line up, but who is the real killer?

If it’s not Ste, fans have been speculating it could be Ste’s fiance Harry Thompson or the creepy DS Armstrong. But all is set to be revealed soon, as the murderer will reportedly be unmasked in one of next week’s episodes. Keep your eyes peeled.

Speaking on today’s GMBT Kieron told presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ranvir Singh, that the cast now know who the killer is, but he wouldn’t give any major hints or clues. At least we don’t have long to find out.

He did spark rumours that his character is in fact the killer, because he joked he “used ” to work there and that whoever killed Amy would have to leave the show. Hmm.

He said: “We can’t have a murderer walking around the village so one of those people are gonna have to leave at some point.

“One of these five can’t stay forever, so will lose their job!”

Kieron then caused some confusion when he said: “When I used to work there…jokes,” as if to say he has been booted off the show.

He continued to explain about the big reveal as he said: “It starts off the week, and even tonight’s E4 episode is the beginning of the trial – but there is a massive hook at the end of the episode which reels everyone in for the rest of week.”

He added: “We have shot multiple endings and for quite a while we didn’t know which one did it!”

We’ll also see Ste collapse in shocking scenes next week which will surely see fans worry for his health.

Ste suffers from brain damage due to his past abuse of the drug crystal meth, and thanks to his blackouts on the night of Amy’s murder, had believed he had killed her.

But viewers knew that was pretty unlikely and that it’s much more likely to be one of the other suspects. When Ste realised what a big mistake he could be making in admitting to a murder he’s not even sure he committed, he changed his plea to not guilty.

Tune into tonight’s E4 episode to watch the plot start to unfold.
