Holly Willoughby cracks up after Phillip Schofield SWEARS on This Morning

With particular apologies to viewers in Germany...

Mischievous Phillip Schofield had fellow This Morning host Holly Willoughby in giggles after swearing on the show.

Befuddled by money-saving expert Martin Lewis’ advice on lifetime ISAs, Phil seemed to entertain himself with a silly rhyme that included the German word for ‘something beginning with ‘s’ that rhymes with ‘twit’!

“ISA, LISA… Scheisse,” he intoned, after Martin revealed he was about to move on to explaining the saving scheme’s more complicated details.

Martin allowed himself a brief chuckle before soldiering on with his report – but Holly was unable to stop herself from aiming a smirk into the camera.

Viewers also saw the funny side:

However, Martin later hit back on Twitter after he came under attack from viewers who thought he had been terse with an elderly caller.

The caller had asked whether it was possible to avoid mobile banking and Martin had tried to explain the benefits of banking online but viewers felt he had been dismissive.
