Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have wrapped up their last day on This Morning for the summer.
The duo made a rare appearance on Friday’s show – which they usually have off – to reveal they are taking six weeks off to enjoy time with their families.
As Holly and Phil enjoy their summer break, viewers can look forward to seeing Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford take their spots on the This Morning sofa.

Opening the show on Friday, Holly said: “It’s our last show before Eammon and Ruth take over for the summer from Monday. Definitely in holiday mode now. We are taking a little bit of time off for the summer.”
And it was even the show’s dog Digby’s last day, as he’s going off to complete his Dogs For Good assistance dog training.
Meanwhile, during the show Holly and Phil took the opportunity to start their summer off right by making a toast.
They hosted a segment trying out wine that comes in a can.
After trying several different types of wine, they clinked their glasses together declaring, “Here’s to the holidays!”
At the end of the show, Phil and Holly danced along to a performance of Strictly Ballroom outside the studio.
A montage of the pair’s best bits over the past year then played.
Holly said: “It’s been an amazing year, cheers! And thank you to the whole team who will be back on Monday, of course, because Eamonn and Ruth are going to be here.”
Phil added: “Yes, we are slipping away for a little while now… only for a bit of Prosecco, but we’ll be back in September. Have a fantastic summer, lots of love, we’ll see you then.”
Shortly before the show started, Holly shared her final This Morning outfit with fans on Instagram.
The presenter, 37, wore a stunning red and blue floral dress by C/Meo Collective, with a pair of brown heels.
She captioned the post: “Last day of term excitement here on @thismorning.”
Holly then thanked her beauty team, adding: “Thanks to my gorgeous and clever girls @angiesmithstudio @patsyoneillmakeup and @cilerpeksah_hairstylist for always being brilliant…
“Love you gals!”

Following the show, fans flocked to Twitter to express their sadness over the duo going off on their summer hols.
One person said: “A good 80% [of viewers] won’t tune in for #thismorning until September now.”
