Holly and Phil in stitches at Rylan’s “outrageous” behaviour at the TV Choice Awards

He was a little worse for wear!

This Morning won best daytime show at last night’s TV Choice awards and for once it wasn’t hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield who partied too hard, it was Rylan Clark-Neal!

As the show opened this morning, Holly and Phil were in hysterics as they shared a series of pictures and video clips of Rylan seemingly more than a little worse for wear.

They both laughed that at least it wasn’t them this time!

Holly and Phil are notorious for celebrating a little too hard after the National Television Awards, and a couple of years ago turned up to present the show still in their clothes from the night before.

But this year it was Rylan’s turn as he gulped down the white wine during the show’s interview with Sharon Marshall.

Phillip explained they were all laughing throughout the interview because they “had to do it about 15 times because Rylan was outrageous”.

They then shared a clip of Sharon attempting to speak to them about their win, but Rylan was slurring his words and laughing. Holly described Rylan as the “embarrassing mate” at a wedding.

Phil then said he was concerned as to how much of the interview footage they were going to be able to use, but Holly burst into giggles insisting this was the best stuff and they could use it all! Before adding: “He’s a disgrace to everyone at the company!”

They both reiterated that they were just glad it wasn’t them.

Phil then revealed they’d tried to call Rylan this morning, but had been unable to get hold of him – oh dear, sounds like he’s suffering big time!

Rylan’s “session” apparently all started when the presenter bumped into Frankie Dettori earlier in the day.

And then the partying continued at the awards later on.

Alison Hammond had shared with Phil and Holly the perfect emoji for Rylan as he tried to look at something on his phone.

Well, at least he had a good night, even if his head is a little sore this morning!

Holly had earlier shared a photo of herself clutching the award on Instagram.

She captioned the snap: “Well done team @thismorning… we may have just won a @tvchoicemagazine award! Thank you so much.”

It’s the second year in a row the show has won the accolade.
