Gemma Collins claims ex beat her to ‘within an inch of her life’

Reality star reveals attack took place night before I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

We all watched her brief stint in the I’m A Celeb jungle. But Gemma Collins has claimed that the night before she went onto the show, she was beaten by her then partner Alex Moss.

And Gemma – who has been the meme sensation of the summer – alleges that she has the pictures to prove it and is planning to release them.

“I’ve been sitting on these pictures for three years, but people need to know,” she told The Mirror.

“It was bad timing, but now I’m really happy and finally free, now I can finally clear it up.”

She says it was particularly hard because of the ribbing she got for flying home from the show so quickly, quitting just a few days into the experience.

“I’ve had to laugh and joke with people and I’m thinking, ‘Mate you don’t know what happened'” she says.

“I was really severely beaten up by my partner the night before I went into the jungle, and not many people know.

“My partner Alex beat me to within an inch of my life, and when I went in there, I was really badly beaten from my neck down.”

TOWIE legend Gemma, 36, says that while people tried to talk her out of going through with the show back in 2014, she felt she couldn’t let everyone down.

Gemma – who also appeared on Big Brother – quit the show after three days, after struggling with everything from the lack of food to jumping out of a helicopter.

“Now when it comes on, I dread it,” she added about the show which is back later this year.

“I feel like that opportunity was taken away from me through no fault of my own.”

And if the chance comes up again, the GC – who is currently single, as is Arg, just saying – says she would love to get back in there.

Gemma first claimed back in January that Alex had been physical towards her but he denied her allegations at the time.
