Graham Norton makes huge Little Mix blunder on Children In Need

Host confused as only three members performed

Graham Norton had to apologise to Little Mix fans on Children In Need after saying there were only three members.

The host made the blunder after Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson surprised a fan named Kirsty with a singalong in a pre-recorded video.

But girlband member Leigh-Anne Pinnock was missing from the clip, which seems to have left the TV star confused.

Co-presenter Mel Giedroyc joked that Kirsty was “basically like the fifth member” of Little Mix, with Graham attempting to correct her by saying: “Fourth member, fourth member.”

Fans took to social media to point out that Mel hadn’t made a mistake and that Graham got it wrong.

One tweeted: “I’m confused… Little Mix have 4 members don’t they? So Mel was correct when she said Kirsty was basically the 5th member. And Graham messed up?”

Another posted: “Graham Norton @MelGiedroyc was right..! There’s 4 members of @LittleMix so Kirsty would have been the 5th member.”

Realising his error, Graham announced minutes later: “We must apologise to Little Mix fans.

“There are four members. But there were three in that. We were both right.”

Feeling vindicated, Mel replied: “But I was more right.”
