It’s only been a few weeks since Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle finally put the past behind them and gave in to their love for each other in Emmerdale.

Fans were thrilled and united in their hopes that the ‘Robron’ romance will be one of those very rare things in Soapland – a relationship that actually lasts!

However, actor Ryan Hawley has revealed that he wants to take a break from the soap… Which could leave TV viewers without their fave couple again. Say it isn’t so!

Ryan added: “I think over the past four years there hasn’t been a moment when Robert hasn’t been stressing; either cheating on someone, hiding a death, a pregnancy, trying to get someone to have an abortion.”

However the actor admits the scriptwriters have still got quite a bit planned for his character, saying: “But I think we’re going to be quite busy later in the year as well.”

Despite being loved-up with Aaron (played by Danny Miller), Robert’s future isn’t looking entirely rosy with Liv’s alcohol abuse storyline coming up soon.

Bad boy Robert has also been left in charge of son Seb, after ex-Rebecca feared she wasn’t capable of looking after him following on from her brain injury diagnosis.

And we haven’t even mentioned Joe Tate, who is determined to destroy Robert’s business!

Break Ryan? Don’t you dare!
