Emmerdale’s best ever cat-fights!

Claws out and hair tied firmly back - it's Emmerdale's best cat fights. Meow.

| Updated:

As Laurel and Brenda faced off over Doug/Bob/some veggies in tonight’s Emmerdale, we thought we’d have a look back at some of the most memorable cat-fights in the history of the Dales.

And – to be honest – this mud-slinging, hair-pulling, face-slapping bunch only really scratches the surface…

Chas and Eve in the Woolpack

Chas Dingle and Eve Jensen had several memorable clashes during Suzanne Shaw’s time in the ITV soap, but none topped the slap-fest that came after Chas discovered Eve had been sleeping with Carl King.

As Eve entered the Woolie with her grandma Edna, Chas apologised to Edna before cracking Eve one across the face. And then again.

It soon turned into a full blown scrap and when Gennie Walker came in she asked Charity if she was going to do anything and Charity cheered: ‘Yeah. Go on Chas!’ Brilliant.

Moira and Chrissie at Home Farm

When Moira got wind that Chrissie and Cain had been swapping saliva, she hit back. Literally.

Driving up to Home Farm in her jeep, she jumped out, punched Chrissie in the face before yelling: “Some things you can’t have because they don’t belong to you.”

A confused Chrissie bit back saying: “There’s only one person in my marriage sleeping with another man, and it’s not me!” Touche.

Debbie and Chas in the back of the pub

When Debbie Dingle found out that her Auntie Chas had been sleeping with her fiance Cameron Murray, all hell kicked off.

Cain, Zak, Debs and Charity all descended on the Woolpack while Cam and Chas tried to do a runner out the back. The Dingles caught up with them though and – after Cain smashed Cameron’s car in with a hammer – Charity and Debbie dragged Chas into the pub by her hair.

Then Debbie gave her a good slapping while a shame-faced Chas pretty much took it.

Tracy and Vanessa in the Woolpack

After discovering they shared a dad in Frank, Vanessa and Tracy ended up having a full on cat fight in the Woolpack after shouting insults at each other.

Vanessa called Tracy a ‘mongrel’ and Tracy branded Vanessa a ‘ prize winning b*tch’.

They then attacked each other with plastic forks while a collectively puzzled Woolpack watched on in amusement/horror.

Bernice and Katie in the Village

Before Katie’s sad demise she and Bernice frequently fought each other with various foodstuffs.

There was a time when Bernice dumped a pan of pasta over Katie, but our favourite had to be when she drunkenly charged at her in the village and attacked her with sausages.

Yes, really. And it was all over Andy Sugden.

Katie and Jo in the barn

Katie also had a rivalry with Jo. And it was also over Andy.

The pair had many epic showdowns but the best one had to be when they did a bit of mud wrestling in a barn. Pretty sure most male Emmerdale fans loved this episode.

Charity and Nicola outside the pub

When Nicola caught Charity sneaking out of the pub loos with Jimmy King, insults were thrown. And it wasn’t long before punches were being thrown too.

Eventually Cain stepped in to split them up, but not before Shadrach called out ‘throw some mud on them.’

Priya, Rachel and Alicia in the Village

ITV

After Rachel gave birth to baby Archie and fibbed Rishi was the father not Jai, she gave Priya a slap after she said she wouldn’t care if Archie was at the bottom of a landfill.

When Alicia tried to pull Priya off of Rachel, she was rewarded with a slap too. David jumped to Alicia’s defence, leaving his girlfriend Priya pretty furious.

Megan and Charity in the Village

Megan was livid after finding out Charity had slept with her boyfriend Frank and plotted revenge.

She initially wanted to pour paint over Charity’s luxury car but after a heartfelt plea from Debbie, decided to dump it over Charity instead.

Megan aptly chose red paint, literally making her love rival a scarlet woman.

Debbie and Carly in the garage

Those Dingle women just love a fight don’t they? Carly and Debbie got physical after Debbie tried to overcharge Carly for her car repairs.

“She’s tapped,” Debbie yelled at Carly’s dad Bob when he came to drag his daughter home.

“I didn’t want Heidi ripping me off,” Carly snapped back before being led away for a proper telling off.
