Moira Barton revealed the father of her shock baby is Pete Barton in dramatic scenes in tonight’s Emmerdale. And killer Emma Barton helped deliver her new grandson.

Picking up from last night’s cliffhanger – which saw Emma and nemesis, Moira, battling it out in one of the barns with pitchforks before fire broke out and Moira appeared to go into spontaneous labour – a confused Emma gazed at the flames, while Moira pleaded with her to help her.
“Please, Emma, the baby,” she gasped, while Emma told her there was no baby. “It’s God’s will,” the killer told her, hinting that she was about to leave her to die in the barn.
Moira tried to insist she was in labour, telling Emma that her waters had broken, but Emma said: “We’re both going to hell.”
But Moira had a trump card up her sleeve. “It’s Pete’s. He’s the father,” she told Emma, hoping that she wouldn’t be able to let her own grandchild die in a fire before he’s even born.
“No. I don’t believe you.” Emma replied before Moira screamed: “I swear to you, it’s the truth. It’s his baby!”
A stunned Emma then appeared to leave Moira in the burning building, before reversing a pick-up truck into the barn and eventually battling the flames and dragging Moira to safety.
The two women managed to escape the inferno seconds before it exploded into a fireball.
Emma then told Moira that she was going to deliver her grandchild. Terrifying stuff.
It wasn’t exactly a peaceful delivery as Emma encouraged Moira to ‘breathe and push’, while reciting Bible passages to her.
Eventually Moira pushed the baby out and a delighted Emma revealed it was a boy, claiming it to be a miracle, while Moira looked barely conscious.
Pete and Moira had a controversial affair earlier this year.
They slept together several times, grossing fans out because they’re uncle and auntie.
