Emmerdale viewers at war over new love triangle

Who should he choose?

It was all Dingle hands on deck in tonight’s Emmerdale – apart from Cain who’s too busy brooding to get involved – as the family decided to fight the council for their home.

The council want to kick the Dingles out and tear the house down to make way for a new golf course. And Faith Dingle’s new love, Eric Pollard, is in it up to his neck.

He successfully deterred the council from pulling his own home down, unwittingly sending them gunning for his neighbours instead.

His guilty conscience was clearly gnawing away at him however when he offered to pay for a lawyer for the family.

Dodgy Morris warned Eric to stop the Dingle clan kicking up a fuss, or he’d ruin him. Tbh, Faith will probably want to be first in line when she discovers Eric’s part in her family’s impending homelessness.

Elsewhere Robert – who clearly lacks any sort of empathy gene – took his newborn son to the pub where his ex lives to say thanks for not letting him do a runner.

Poor Aaron couldn’t get away fast enough.

Meanwhile Rhona confessed to Vanessa that she’d fallen back in love with Paddy. Which is going to be a bit awkward when he and Chas go public with their romance later this week.

Viewers were divided over who the vet should be with..

Still, Rhona’s snake cakes for Leo’s bake sale, looking more like something that would be served up at a hen party than a primary school, raised a few laughs…
