“I’ve never hated anyone more,” he told his brother Pete. He later told Debbie: “I want you to remember what you did. From now on, you are dead to me.”

Days later, wracked with guilt about her actions, Debbie decides it’s time to come clean to her family.

But only after Pete – angry that Ross has slept with drug addict Dawn – blames Debbie for Ross’ downfall during a very public confrontation at The Woolpack.

Following Pete’s tongue-lashing, Debbie admits to Chas and Sarah that Pete has every reason to be angry at her because she was responsible for Ross’ attack.

Both Chas and Sarah are horrified, with Sarah even refusing to have anything to do with her anymore.

Charity and Vanessa are also shocked to learn the truth about everything.

Alienated and alone, will Debbie find solace with boyfriend Joe? Or take everyone’s advice that he’s bad news?
