Emmerdale SPOILER: Dark twist coming up in the Amelia kidnap storyline

Has she been kidnapped or something more sinister?

Emmerdale actor Liam Fox has revealed the disappearance of Amelia Spencer isn’t set to be resolved any time soon.

And he admits that there’s a dark twist coming up that will leave soap fans shocked to the core.

ITV viewers have been worried for young Amelia ever since she disappeared from her family home.

She vanished shortly after discovering the painful news that Dan wasn’t her real dad.

Despite believing he was her real dad since she was born, a DNA test proved that her biological dad is in fact Dan’s brother Daz.

It’s all a bit icky!

After that, Amelia vanished. But nobody knows if she ran away or has been kidnapped.

In upcoming episodes, the family front a TV appeal for any information.

But Daz’s shifty behaviour becomes a cause for concern… . So much so, that he eventually becomes a suspect!

He’s clearly hiding something, but what?

In an interview with Metro.co.uk, actor Liam reveals that the story continues for a while yet and promises a dark twist.

He says: “Things are going to get quite sinister for the Spencer family. There’s going to be fingers pointing in all sorts of directions over why she’s gone, who’s responsible for her going.

“That will go on for quite a while yet. We’ve still got a lot more stuff to film within that storyline, so you can imagine that’s going to be going right through the summer.”

He also praised young actress Daisy Campbell, who portrays the troubled teenager.
