Mark Jordon hints at Amelia’s plot in Emmerdale kidnapping twist

Has he let something slip again!?

Mark Jordon appears to have dropped a major clue about Emmerdale’s current kidnapping storyline.

And we have a feeling the actor might get his knuckles rapped by show bosses again!

It was only last week that the likeable actor accidentally let slip a huge spoiler while appearing on This Morning – much to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby’s amazement.

He later joked he “still had his job”.

But this week, Mark – who portrays Daz Spencer – seems to have given fans another hint about Amelia’s disappearance.

The 53-year-old appeared to confirm a popular opinion on social media that his biological daughter Amelia has ‘vanished’ in order to give her family a scare.

As fan theories about the schoolgirl’s abduction continue to mount on Twitter, one Emmerdale fan speculated that Amelia had, in fact, orchestrated it all herself.

She wrote: “Great acting from @JoepopProds tonight this explains his PTSD, as for the supposed kidnapping of Amelia she didn’t look very traumatised why do I get the impression that she arranged the kidnapping to get back at her family for arguing #Emmerdale.”

In turn, Mark seemed to give the game away by replying: “Nice work Fiona.”

He added the applause emoji, to add praise to the tweeter.

So does this mean the fan is right and that Amelia really DID fake her own kidnapping?

The young girl has been missing ever since discovering that her ‘uncle’ Daz is in fact her biological dad.

But, after three weeks, she was seen onscreen for the first time on Tuesday night (19 June).

She is staying in a flat with a girl she called Beth.

Beth’s intentions are, as yet, unclear. But Amelia looked happy to see her, and was not tied up or in shackles in any way.

Could she really have vanished to get attention or to teach her family a lesson?

Another popular theory is that Beth is linked to Daz’s military past, after it was revealed he accidentally killed a man on a training exercise.

Next week, Daz gets a ransom note from Amelia’s so-called abductors.

Is Amelia really in danger? Or is it just a sick game?
