We’ve only just got used to Joe Tate being Joe and not Tom Waterhouse, and now he’s been given another secret identity.
Except this time the buff businessman was given a less than complimentary nickname and Emmerdale fans found it hilarious.
Viewers were left in stitches during a scene between Ross Barton and Joseph Tate in last night’s episode of the ITV soap (Wednesday 7 March), as millionaire Joe was given another name.
Yep, his third so far!
TV watchers saw a repentant Ross try to make amends with ex-girlfriend Debbie after his shocking attack on her the day before.

And it looked like Ross’s apology was going down very well as Debbie began to tenderly stroke his face.
But when super-rich Joseph suddenly showed up in the background, Ross was less than pleased that he was cramping his style.
Angry and jealous that Debbie had her head turned, Ross compared Joe to the comedy villain “Lord Farquaad” in Hollywood animation Shrek (voiced by John Lithgow).
Fans were quick to react, with one commenting: “Love the name… lord farquad.”

But the funny moment was quickly replaced with a more sombre scene when a heartbroken Ross told his former love exactly what he thought of her, convinced she was secretly still in love with Joseph.
When she admitted she cared about him, Ross lashed out: “I don’t care about you.”
