Emmerdale fans couldn’t believe their ears when Sarah Sugden got her mum in to BIG trouble last night.
Viewers were shocked when the schoolgirl grassed Debbie Dingle up to the police – telling them she was behind the acid attack on Ross Barton.

And a fair few ITV watchers cheered that Debbie is finally going to face justice for her actions!
Sarah got herself into a spot of bother when she was arrested by police after stealing Joe Tate’s car and going for a joyride around the village.
While her accomplishes Leanna Cavanagh, Jacob Gallagher and her uncle Noah Dingle got away, poor Sarah was caught and taken into custody.

But it was what happened next that really had fans shouting at their TV sets…
In scenes that aired on Tuesday (12 June), an angry Sarah told the police about Debbie’s role in Ross Barton’s assault.

Viewers know that Debbie paid drug dealer Simon to beat up Joe, but he decided to throw acid instead. He then mistook Ross for Joe.
While horrified great-grandmother Faith looked on, Sarah lashed out at her mum by telling the police everything.
She blasted: “Well you tell me, is throwing acid in someone’s face against the law, or not?”
She added: “Look my mum didn’t throw any acid. She just paid someone else to.”
Back at home later, Sarah was unrepentant when Debbie told her she could go to prison.
The episode ended dramatically as a stressed Sarah passed out and was rushed to hospital.
Debbie was devastated when doctors told her Sarah’s cancer might have returned or that her heart might be at fault.

Fans took to Twitter to share their shock at Sarah ‘breaking the Dingle code’, with one saying: “Awww! Sarah broke the Dingle Code. Guess shes banished from the family now.”
Another fan wrote: “I’m sorry but I’m on Sarah’s side. Debbie is a disgrace and has never had to pay for her terrible actions. What kind of message is that? and then to shack up with the guy you wanted dead.”
One seemed pleased that Debbie would get punished, writing: “Sarah’s the only one to get caught from the joyriding and she doesn’t hold back with the coppers revealing Debbie’s duplicity in Ross’s acid attack. So Debbie might get real consequences after all – good.”
However, a worried spectator feared that “Debbie will go to prision and social will take Sarah and Jack”.
With Sarah’s illness about to become a major storyline, we think social services might be the last thing on her mind…
