Fans of Emmerdale were left feeling extremely unimpressed with Laurel Thomas last night as she reignited her affair with Bob Hope, moments after being hit by a car.

Laurel was knocked down by a stressed out Jimmy King who was rushing to get to Home Farm.
She was knocked to the ground and appeared to be unconscious, leaving viewers fearing for her life.
And they weren’t the only ones either, Bob frantically dashed to the hospital worried that Laurel had been killed.
Luckily all was well as she soon emerged with her arm bandaged due to a fracture.
But moments later she was snogging Bob in the kitchen of Mulberry Cottage.
And viewers didn’t like this behaviour from the vicar’s widow.
They took to Twitter to vent.
“Brenda deserves so much better than that – absolutely hate what Bob and Laurel are doing,” fumed one fan.
“Nearly brought my tea back up watching Bob and Laurel, don’t know what was worse, them kissing or his shirt,” ranted another.
A third raged: “Poor brenda.. and laurel said she wont wreck a marriage.. well babe.. you done it already. love brenda to play these both Bob and laurel.. tear them apart brenda.. go girl!!”
And a fourth said: “BOB AND LAUREL GENUINELY MAKE ME FEEL SICK EW WTF.”

Laurel and Bob kicked off their affair last year when they ended up sleeping together after a random encounter in the village.
After that they decided to stay away from each other as much as possible, but Bob’s true feelings came exploding out when he feared Laurel had been killed.

As they got passionate in the kitchen, Bob’s fiancee, Brenda Walker walked into Mulberry looking for her betrothed.
It wasn’t obvious that she’d seen them, but a later scene showed her in tears as she fondled a button belonging to Laurel and realising that Bob was cheating with their friend and neighbour.
