After dropping the bombshell that Graham has a secret daughter (who may or may not be alive) Emmerdale fans have got an interesting theory that she might be a lot closer to home than we think.
On Thursday night’s episode it was revealed that Graham has a daughter after a confrontation between the Dales enigma and his boss Joe Tate where Joe sniped: “If only your daughter was with us, I’m sure she’d love to see what a protective father you are.”
Graham hissed back: “Never, never, use my past against me again. Do you understand me? I live with it every day, every day.”
The snide remark landed Joe with a broken nose while fans were sent into a tailspin wondering who the daughter was and – if she was still alive.
Now some fans have gone one step further and guessed that his secret daughter could be Nell Fairfax – in a bizarre theory.
Nell, who exited the ITV soap last year, conned Jai Sharma and Moira Barton by pretending to be a recovering drug addict like dead Holly Barton.
Her tragic backstory was exposed as lies and she left the village in disgrace, before being shown moving onto another family to dupe.
And now fans think her Emmerdale story isn’t quite over.
“Learning so much about Graham, why do I think with the mention of a daughter it could be Nell. #Emmerdale,” tweeted one fan.
Another added: “Imagine if Graham’s daughter is Nell oooh.”
And a third said: “Wonder if Nell is Graham’s daughter?”

Other guesses were that Graham could actually be dead Chrissie White’s real dad and some viewers wondered if Graham was responsible for his daughter’s death.
