Emmerdale actress Fiona Wade has revealed that she is secretly dating someone, but has been keeping it a secret because she “wanted time to get to know him”.
The actress has described her new man as a “wonderful guy” during a recent chat with The Express.
She told the newspaper all about her love life – admitting that she is dating someone in the entertainment industry…

“I’m with someone right now. He’s an actor and writer based in London.
“It’s fairly new, we’ve been together since last year and he’s a very wonderful guy, but I’ve kept it quiet. I just wanted time to get to know him – he’s very special.”
Fiona stars in Emmerdale as Priya Sharma, but while her personal life is looking rosy, the same can’t be said for her alter ego.
Not only is Pirya struggling to bring up her daughter, Amba, on her own as a working mum, but she is also facing child abuse claims after her niece was found with bruises on her.
Fiona’s life is obviously very different though, and the actress has revealed that she would love a family in the future, explaining: “I would definitely like a family of my own one day.
“I like children and I’ve got lots of nieces and nephews who are gorgeous. It’s something I haven’t thought about massively – I’ve been very career-orientated so far – but maybe I should!
“The little girl who plays Amba is adorable. She’s so good. She comes into work with a big smile and she knows what to do – she’s amazing. Hopefully I’ll be blessed myself one day.”

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
