EastEnders fans are convinced that Mick Carter still has feelings for Whitney Dean after the way he acted last night when Halfway asked him for advice.
Thanks to the meddling of Tiffany Butcher, Halfway couldn’t believe his luck when he ended up on a date with Whitney, and was even more thrilled when Mick’s wife, Linda, helped to make the date really special.

Halfway then turned to Mick to ask him some advice on how to be with Whitney during the date, figuring the pub landlord knew her better than him.
Oh Halfway, you don’t know the half of it!
But viewers are convinced that Mick didn’t look very impressed at the thought of Halfway dating Whitney – who he had a brief not-really fling with last year.
In fact, some watchers thought he looked pretty darned jealous.
“MICKNEY IS NOT OVER! The way Mick was acting tonight was clear that he still had feelings for Whitney! OMG BRING ON MICKNEY,” tweeted one delighted fan.
Another added: “@bbceastenders Mick just needs to admit he still has feelings for Whitney” followed by a load of thumbs-up emojis.
A third noticed: “Mick didn’t like Halfway going on a (sort of) date with Whitney. He didn’t really want to answer his questions. Interesting…”
And a fourth said: “Mick secretly still loves Whitney I bet! He’d be jealous if Halfway and Whitney started dating!”
Mick and Whitney shared a kiss – and a special bond – last year while Linda was away looking after her sick mother/secretly battling cancer.
The fling didn’t go beyond a snog or two, but when Linda returned, Mick admitted he thought he was in love with his former daughter-in-law.
Fans of the BBC One soap were hugely divided on the Mickney relationship, with some people loving it and others calling for it to end straight away.
