EastEnders: Thief who took the heist money FINALLY revealed

Any last minute guesses?

It’s been a mystery since Ben Mitchell unzipped his suitcase at customs and revealed a stash of Walford Gazettes.

Tonight EastEnders viewers will discover who actually has the loot stolen from Aidan Maguire’s ill-fated heist job on New Year’s Day.

Last night’s episode left viewers with a major cliffhanger as Phil Mitchell seemed to suggest he and Sharon had the stash of cash and jewellery.

Phil commented that there would be a ‘blood bath’ if Aidan found out and fans took to Twitter to speculate if this meant they had the missing loot.

What Phil and Sharon didn’t realise was that Mel Owen was hiding in the shadows and heard everything.

Mel is also looking for the money in order to trade it in for her son, Hunter.

Tonight’s show will explore the aftermath of that intriguing conversation with Mel targeting Phil’s daughter, Louise, to get more information.

Louise immediately trust Mel because she’s an old mate of her mum, Lisa, and the pair of them even stayed with her in Portugal when Louise was a baby.

Mel manipulates Lou’s trust and manages to get inside the Mitchell house.

Dun, dun DUNNNNN.

Once she’s alone, Mel is determined to find some clues that will lead her to the missing treasures.

Are Phil and Sharon really stashing the ill-gotten gains?

Or is it someone else entirely?
