The dream team!

EastEnders fans were left stunned and delighted when it was revealed on Friday that Sharon Mitchell had taken the heist money, right from under Phil’s nose.

But now she and Mel Owen have some decisions to make about their next move.

Mel needs to get the money back to Ciara in order to be reunited with her son, Hunter, but she also bonded with Sharon during their conversation.

We know that Hunter arrives in Walford next week, but will Mel and Sharon simply hand over the missing money? We think not.

The two women plan their next step and head over to Ciara’s house to talk to her, as these new pics show.

But we don’t see a bag of loot with them – so what are they plotting?

Fans went into overdrive after Friday night’s episode when Sharon told Mel that she had the stash of cash.

While the prime suspect has been Mick Carter all this time – particularly after he suddenly got the cash to buy back the freehold of The Vic, viewers know that he wasn’t the one with cash stuffed under his mattress.

Mel Owen has also had an invested interest in finding that money – desperate to see her son, Hunter, again she has been trying to track down the cash.

But Friday’s visit to Walford saw Mel sniffing around Sharon’s house after overhearing an incriminating conversation between her and husband Phil Mitchell.

Convinced that Phil has been hiding the cash all this time, Mel appealed to Sharon’s motherly instincts, hoping it might lead her to reveal Phil’s secret.

Little did Mel know, she was already talking to the one holding all the money!

Viewers flooded Twitter with praise for the writers and Queen Sharon.
