There’s trouble brewing between two unlikely enemies next week when Donna takes on Rainie.
After hearing that Martin and Stacey were the ones who gave Max and Rainie their character references they needed to get one step closer to getting custody of baby Abi, Donna is fuming.
As baby Abi’s mum’s best friend, she is adamant that the little girl should be placed with a more stable family, and not with unhinged Max and his fake ex con wife.

But after Donna has given Martin a reality check for supporting Max, she later lashes out at Rainie, questioning whether she is really fit to take care of a child.
Rainie’s not a woman to be messed with, though. And it looks like Donna might live to regret getting on the wrong side of the new Mrs Branning.
To teach Donna a lesson, Rainie steals some cigarettes from the Minute Mart and plants them on Donna’s stall outside, before reporting her for selling stolen goods.
It’s not long before Donna is in some serious trouble with Mr Lister… and she soon works out who framed her.
Storming to the Brannings, she confronts Rainie. But she’s thrown when Max appears to back up his wife.
Little does she know, the minute the front door is closed, Max is laying into Rainie, berating her for potentially ruining their chances of bringing little Abi home.
Fed up with his troublesome new wife, Max tells her she won’t be getting her hands on any cash if she continues to jeopardise their chances of getting custody.

But with the pair having shared a kiss the night before, could Rainie’s interest in their deal now be more than just the cold, hard cash?
