Lorraine Stanley has teased Hannah Spearitt’s ‘brilliant’ return to EastEnders.
The actress plays Karen Taylor in the BBC soap with the former S Club pop star playing her glamorous younger sister.
And now Lorraine has revealed how her on-screen sibling’s return will lighten the mood for the Taylor family.
They are currently reeling after Keegan was stabbed in a gang attack that saw his best friend Shakil murdered.
But Kandice’s return will soon liven things up.

Lorraine told Digital Spy: “It’s a really silly and really fun storyline.
“She comes back and it’s really camp and funny. Amid all the darker stuff, you need some comedy and Kandice coming back brings that.
“We’re filming that at the moment and it’s brilliant.”
Kandice was last seen giving her sister the £1,000 she needed to pay off her debts.
After much persuasion Kandice turned up in Walford just in time to save Karen’s belongings and the pair had a hilarious fight in the street before collapsing into giggles.
It was revealed earlier this year how the singer had impressed bosses with her first stint and invited to return.
A source told The Sun at the time: “Bosses were really impressed with Hannah’s talent and energy.

“She went down well with fans and created a great buzz around the show. She has a positive, hard-working attitude, which was infectious.
“If she continues to prove popular, she could be a more permanent fixture. Plus her chemistry with the other actors works really well.”
