Jean Slater is set to make a shocking revelation in EastEnders next week which explains why she has been reluctant to return to her husband Ollie in Brighton.

Viewers have been left confused as to why Jean has been so keen to hang around in Walford while she waits for Mo to pay her back the money she owes her.
Jean has been living in Brighton with her husband Ollie for the past few years, but she’s barely even mentioned him since returning to the Square earlier this year.
And it’s about to be explained when Jean makes a shocking confession to Kat about Ollie and their life in Brighton. The revelation leaves Kat reeling.
Kat returns from her ‘trip to Spain’ next week and is horrified to find out that Stacey, Mo, Jean and Hayley all plan to keep Charlie’s old cab.
Kat thinks they should sell it and give the money to Jean to pay off the money she lent Mo when Mo was being stalked by a gangster she ripped off.
She decides they should have a vote, but when Jean has the deciding vote and looks really uncertain about going back to Ollie, it becomes clear she’s hiding something.

Later, Kat reveals to Mo that Ollie has been hitting Jean and that’s why she doesn’t want to go home.
She tells a stunned Mo that she’s invited him round for lunch on Saturday and that she’s got a plan.
But Kat and Mo get a shock when Ollie turns up unannounced at the Slaters and they lay into him, refusing to hear him out.
How will Jean react when she sees Ollie in her home? Will she end up going back with him or will she be sticking around in the Square for longer?
