EastEnders’ Zack Morris hints at Keegan and Louise romance twist

We DID NOT see this one coming

EastEnders star Zack Morris – who plays bad lad Keegan Baker – has teased a romance coming up for his character – with a very unexpected young lady.

Speaking to Inside Soap, Zack hinted that Keegan could hook up with Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) in the New Year.

He said: “A lot of viewers seem to want him to get together with Louise. I get daily messages from fans on Instagram who are trying to plug this relationship!

“It’s flattering, so maybe the writers will give them what they want. Who knows?”

It would certainly be a bit of a turnaround for the pair, who haven’t got the best track record.

Earlier this year Sharon Mitchell called the police on Keegan as he told Louise they’d slept together when she was too drunk to remember.

He was then arrested on suspicion of rape, but confessed he’d lied about it all because he secretly fancied Louise.

Keegan also upset Lou’s best friend, Bex Fowler, when he sent a photoshopped nude of her around the school.

Until recently she has been loved up with her classmate, Travis, but ended up dumping him for being too protective of her after the accident at prom which left her scarred for life.

Since then she’s had an accidental snog with Bex’s ex, Shakil Kazemi, after he read the signals wrong and made a clumsy pass at the blonde.

Louise didn’t react too well, telling Shaki he was an idiot and she was totally grossed out by the kiss.

Viewers have seen a softer side to Keegan since the rest of his family moved into Albert Square.

Concerned by their money worries, he’s even taken up a job as a road sweeper to help out his mum, Karen Taylor.

He’s also shown a compassionate streak we didn’t know was there when his sister, Bernadette, suffered a miscarriage earlier this year.

Phil might not like it, but Louise could be just the girl to soften out Keegan’s rough edges.
