Karen Taylor has revealed a horribly dark secret about her past – and fans couldn’t believe their ears.
Keegan Baker was pretty shocked, too, as he listened behind a door to mum Karen spilling her heart out.
In conversation with Mitch, poor Karen – clueless that her eldest son was eavesdropping – told Mitch about the REAL reason she’s not in touch with Keanu’s father…
Because he once tried to stab her to death and is serving life in prison for it.

Earlier in the episode, which went out on Thursday 15 March, youngest son Keanu was livid when he discovered his mum Karen had spent the night with Mitch.

Keanu refused to speak to either of them, and viewers were pretty miffed too.
One went so far to say: “Not being funny, but Keegan’s Dad literally makes my skin crawl.”

Many soap fans were worried for Keegan, with one writing: “Awwww no Keegan is going to get his hopes up with his dad and then he’s going to get his heartbroken.”
Newly arrived Mitch has been causing a stir since he arrived in Albert Square, with viewers uniting against him.
Many are suspicious of his motives… And it looks like they have good reason.
We’re told Keegan will soon confront Mitch and eventually gets to the truth, which could implode the Taylor family…
