EastEnders fans have predicted a dangerous new love interest for Ben Mitchell, following a super-charged moment between him and Luke Browning in the Square last night.

As we now know, Luke is the son of old school ‘Enders villain, James Willmott-Brown, who made a dramatic return to the soap last week.
And, just to refresh your memories, JWB was jailed back in 1989 for raping Ben’s mum, Kathy Beale.
Luke is also the former cell-mate of Max Branning, who is working alongside Willmott-Brown to bring the Square to its knees.
The pair shared a moment when Ben, who was trawling through a dating app on his phone, stood up and spilled coffee over Luke’s expensive looking suit.
A hugely apologetic Ben attempted to clean Luke off with a napkin, mumbling how sorry he was.
Luke replied: “Don’t be, accidents happen.”
The two then shared a lingering look before going about their business – Luke’s involved giving the neon sign at Kathy’s some evil stares.
EE fans didn’t miss the moment between the too, suggesting that there could be a potential liaison on the cards.
One fan asked: “Who else noticed that look between Ben Mitchell and Willmott-Brown jr? #EastEnders @HarryReid16 surely not?!”
Another said: ” Please tell me that wasn’t a ‘look’ between Ben Mitchell and Willmott-Brown’s spawn of Satan son? It would kill Kathy Beale.”
And another simply tweeted: “Ben and Luke??”
If fans are right and the two get together, it’s sure to be an explosive storyline. There’s no way Kathy would ever accept her son dating her rapist’s son.
And let’s not even go there with what Phil would do. We’re not sure there’s even a shade of red angry enough for his face.
The biggest question is – did Luke run into Ben accidentally? Or is it yet another part of Max Branning’s plan with Willmott-Brown to take down the Square?
EastEnders bosses promised that JWB’s return would be a story of revenge, but would he use his own son to get back at Kathy, who he believes ruined his life?
We think, yeah, he definitely would.
