EastEnders fans were left feeling they’d missed an episode of the BBC One soap after a bizarre opening sequence showed Tina Carter waking up on the floor of the Vic loos.

The last EE episode was last Friday which showed Abi Branning’s heartbreaking funeral and the departure of her sister, Lauren.
But the timeline suddenly skipped forward to Tina – played by Luisa Bradshaw-White – picking herself off the floor and noticing a new tattoo with an obvious hangover.
Baffled viewers took to Twitter to rant.
Of course they did!
“Have they skipped some episodes again?” one fan wondered. “Why was Tina on the pub loo floor toilets?!”
“Have we missed an episode?! Why is Tina on the toilet floor? Why does she have a new tattoo? Why is she being sick?! I need answers,” ranted another.
A third added: “I’ve missed some episodes and I legit don’t have a Scooby what’s going on.”
It’s not the first time EastEnders has come under fire for ‘missing’ episodes.
Over Christmas viewers were left scratching their heads when the Walford timeline jumped from Boxing Day to New Year’s Eve, with many revellers forgetting Abi and Lauren were in hospital.
They were also puzzled when Kush Kazemi appeared to make a miraculous recovery from heart surgery last year.

One minute he was at death’s door in Walford General and the next he was having a coffee with Denise Fox in the cafe.
