EastEnders fans confused over soap’s Halloween celebrations

It's not over yet!

Enders fans took to Twitter during last night’s episode to point out that Halloween has so far lasted for FOUR days in Albert Square!

In one of the gloomiest episodes of what’s been a pretty bleak show lately, fans managed to see the funny side of the never-ending Halloween celebrations in the Queen Vic.

“#Eastenders halloween has been going on for 4 days on the square now,” wrote one amused fan.

“This is, hands down, the longest Halloween in history,” said another.

While another confused viewer asked: “How is it still Halloween in #EastEnders today – it’s the 2nd November!”

And another worried fan just wanted to know about little Janet.

“#poor Janet was out there for two days,” she pointed out.

The fans’ Twitter banter brought some very welcome light relief to last night’s miserable episode which saw stalker Tom confront Michelle on a deserted tube, and Abi and Lauren have a heart-to-heart over Steven.

Bex and Louise chatted about Bex having the hots for teacher Mr Pryce (“It’s rank,” Louise pointed out, not unreasonably).

And then Lou stripped off to show Bex her scars – and her best friend made her feel better about the wounds.

Meanwhile shaken Tina was worried she’d hit Dave the cat with her car, while the grown-ups in the Square searched frantically for the missing kids.

Eventually, Robbie said something was going on in Bridge Street and a terrified Honey, Billy and Jack legged it to see if their kids were in trouble.

As Honey saw paramedics tending a child covered in a red blanket – just her light-up trainers visible – she realised it was Janet who was in danger.

“It’s my baby,” she screamed.

With Janet on the way to hospital, Amy still missing, and Abi having just dropped the bombshell that she’s preggers with Steven’s baby, it seems Halloween’s going to last for a while yet on Albert Square.
