It would certainly raise a few eyebrows...

EastEnders fans have made a shocking prediction that would really set the cat among the pigeons in Walford.

They reckon that, following her Christmas Eve shenanigans with Max Branning, Stacey Fowler is pregnant with his baby.

Oh boy.

ICYMI, Stacey and Max reignited their old flame while Stace was supposed to be appearing as an angel in the community nativity play.

Instead she was rolling around on the floor with her ex-lover.

And the next day, she actually planned on leaving her husband Martin for Max.

That was until she found out – through Tanya Branning who made an unexpected appearance in the Square – that Max was responsible for the death of Steven Beale and had left Jane Beale to die in a fire.

Stace changed her mind pretty quickly after that and confessed the fling to Martin, hoping they could put it behind them.

Martin hasn’t responded as Stacey had hoped and has booted her out of the home they shared, promising he will go for custody of the kids.

Bit weird as he’s only the dad of one of them, but hey-ho.

Now fans think there could be another nasty shock in store for Martin, with Stacey revealing she’s pregnant and unsure if Martin – or Max – is the daddy.

“I bet Stacey is pregnant with Max’s baby,” one viewer suggested, while another added that Stacey being up the duff would make things a lot worse for Martin.

One fan added: “oh I bet Stacey is pregnant again, this time with Max’s baby, oh the plot thickens!”

And an unimpressed fourth viewer said: “Let me guess, Stacey gets pregnant by Max Zz”

“Stacey and Max first hooked up over a decade ago when Max was still married to Tanya, Stacey was with his son Bradley – and Lauren had a completely different face.

Obviously things have moved on a bit since those days, but with Stacey’s last words to Max being along the lines of wishing he’d fallen off the Vic roof instead of Bradley, we don’t think she’d be too chuffed about carrying his child.

Martin would probably try to nick it anyway.
