There was a huge twist in last night’s Corrie when evil Pat Phelan forced his money-stealing former partner Vinnie out of hiding.
But eagle-eyed (and slightly geeky!) fans were more interested in how Phelan managed to FaceTime on a Windows laptop – when FaceTime is an Apple invention.

“Is that a Windows laptop on Coronation Street, that they are facetiming on?” wrote one.
While another commented: “FaceTime on a Windows laptop? Not likely!”
But apart from the techy blunder, fans praised the storyline that saw Phelan’s old enemy return to the Street. Vinnie’s not been seen since he and Pat cheated Corrie residents out of all their savings for a housing development that didn’t exist – and then ran off with the dodgy profits.

Now Phelan’s befriended Vinnie’s elderly mum, Flora, and he popped up behind her during the FaceTime call last night.
Horrible Phelan later threatened that something nasty could happen to the sweet old lady unless Vinnie comes back to the UK. How low can he get?!

And later we even saw Phelan with a gun!
But is Flora his intended target, or could he be planning to silence Daniel Osbourne, who’s been sniffing around Pat’s dodgy dealings and frankly being pretty annoying?!
When will Phelan’s reign of terror come to an end?
