Former Miss GB Danielle Lloyd has had to deal with internet trolls who cruelly taunted her for an appearance on TV show This Morning.
The former model appeared alongside her six-year-old son Harry, claiming that she thought he had Asperger’s Syndrome and was fighting for him to be diagnosed.
Describing her son’s behaviour, she told hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, “When I take him out he’ll be loud and be screaming. He is very socially awkward, if I said do you want to go out and play, he’ll want to stay in his room with all his possessions in his bed.”
She said: “I feel judged a lot. People look at me and think ‘why can’t she just control that child?’.”
Danielle went on to reveal that she had already had autism ruled out, but thought that it could be some form of it, “He was tested for autism but I think the autism spectrum is so big, there are so many different types.”
“Harry didn’t have severe autism because he can speak properly and he can function and use different tools and stuff.
“For me, it’s just finding out what exactly it is.”
“I’ve been looking to Asperger’s because a lot of his symptoms point more towards that.”
“He can’t really make eye contact very well with people. He doesn’t like loud noises and he’s just got really odd habits.’
“It can be frustrating at home sometimes because obviously for us, we feel like we’re constantly telling him off but he doesn’t understand.”
Asperger’s Syndrome affects around 700,000 people in the UK and is a lifelong developmental disability affecting how people see the world and interact with others.
Some viewers were sympathetic with Danielle saying:

However, some thought her appearance was too much and criticised the 33 year old for bringing her son on TV.

After the interview aired, Danielle’s ex, Jamie Ohara, took to Twitter to write: “Harry is the most amazing son I could ever ask for, kind loving caring and so intelligent, I miss him so much.”
