Sinead Tinker might not be the brightest button in a Coronation Street sewing kit but attempted murderer would be pushing it.
Pensioner menace Flora McArdle will prove to be just as villainous as her conman son when she tries to split up Daniel Osbourne and girlfriend Sinead with a wicked scheme.
Viewers have seen how kind Daniel saved Flora from a poorly run care home over his guilt about leading Pat Phelan to Vinny and having him killed.
But while Flora has wasted no time in getting her feet under the table at the flat Daniel shares with his nephew Adam Barlow, Flora’s nasty side starts to come out.
When she is introduced to Sinead, instead of being nice, Flora decides that the knicker-stitcher isn’t good her enough for Daniel and tries to get rid.

But while most old ladies would limit their actions to some unsolicited advice over a bourbon cream, Flora isn’t like most old ladies.
Having apparently decided that she’s all the woman Daniel needs, Flora will accuse Sinead of trying to poison her this week.
But at least she will give her fair warning.
She will tell her: “I’ve got the measure of you Missy.
“You might act like you’re holier than thou but you lead my Daniel on a merry dance playing him off against that little ginger lad.
“I know you want me out of here so you can move in.

“Tough lucky Missy, I’m going nowhere.”
And it seems she has every intention of making sure Sinead is the one left alone.
