Craig gets a double dose of good news next week when he finds out he’s passed his police assessment with flying colours, and then he lands himself a date with Kayla.
Bethany is thrilled for Craig when he finds out he has passed his exams, but the smile is soon wiped off her face when Craig admits he fancies Kayla and wants to ask her out on a date.
Swallowing her jealousy, Bethany helps her friend write a text to Speed Daal’s new waitress asking her on a date.
Of course Kayla says yes and the pair head out for a drink. But things get off to a bit of a weird start when Kayla spends the whole time asking about Bethany.
Craig is a little bemused by his date’s interest in his ex, but he puts his doubts aside and the pair are soon having a great time.

But Craig was right to worry as Kayla is hiding a huge secret.
Jealous of Bethany and Craig’s close friendship, Kayla decides to make trouble between them.
After overhearing Bethany telling Emma that she’s worried how Craig will cope in the police with his OCD, she goes back to Craig and uses this as ammunition.
Instead of relaying the gossip as the friendly concern that it was, Kayla tells Craig that his friend doesn’t think he is cut out to be a police officer and he is instantly hurt.
Craig confronts Bethany about what she said, leaving her totally baffled.
But it seems the seed of doubt has been planted, could this be the start of more fighting between the former couple thanks to Kayla’s interference?

Recent pap pictures have hinted that this is just the start of a brand new storyline that will see Bethany’s grim sexual grooming storyline revisited.
The pictures show Bethany visiting Kayla at home, only to find herself getting kidnapped. Watch this space!
