Coronation Street fans are team Eva after last night’s episode

Coronation Street viewers are fuming with Johnny Connor

Last night’s trip to Weatherfield saw Eva Price left devastated at the prospect of losing her daughter for good thanks to Adam Barlow’s mistake, and viewers are fuming.

Fans took to social media to vent their frustration at Johnny’s battle to get custody of little baby Susie, daughter of his late son Aidan Connor, who took his own life earlier this year.

For a while it looked like Eva might have won Johnny over when she went to visit the Connors, asking if they could avoid the courts and sort out looking after Susie between them.

She even suggested Johnny and Jenny spent the afternoon with Susie, making it clear that she wanted them to spend as much time with Aidan’s daughter as possible.

But when Johnny later visited Adam at work to talk about his battle with Alya over ownership of the factory, he happened to see the fake DNA test that Adam had made to try and help Eva out.

Despite the fact the new mum had instantly turned down Adam’s idea that they pretend that he is Susie’s dad and not Aidan in an attempt to avoid a custody battle with the Connors, Johnny wasn’t listening as he angrily confronted her in the middle of the Rovers.

But while the battle between the Connors and Eva might have just ramped up a gear, there’s no doubt where Corrie fans’ alliances lie…

With actress Catherine Tyldesley having filmed her last scenes on the cobbles, it won’t be long before fans see Eva’s much-anticipated exit from the show.
