Coronation Street’s time change tonight

Make sure you're on the sofa at the right time!

Warning, soap fans, there’s a change in the running order of the shows tonight, so make sure you are paying attention and don’t miss your favourite…

Emmerdale is on as normal at 7pm, and is followed by Coronation Street, as usual, at 7.30pm.

But rather than two separate visits to Weatherfield, with the second picking up at 8.30pm, Corrie will run an hour-long show.

And what a show it is, too, as Eileen continues to be persecuted by pranks and nuisance calls.

She has been the target of some spooky happenings recently, but things are set to get even weirder in tonight’s on the cobbles when she finds a group of men removing furniture from her house.

But Eileen’s day from hell doesn’t end there. She later answers her phone, only to hear her presumed-dead husband’s voice at the other end of the line.

Viewers know that Phelan is in fact alive and well after it was revealed back at Easter that he survived his fall from the harbour wall. But Eileen and the rest of Weatherfield have no idea he’s still a danger.

But when Eileen hears Phelan’s chilling voice tonight she immediately calls the police. They’re quick to reassure her that they have no reason to believe Phelan is still alive (little do they know!) and that the call must have been lifted from an old voicemail.

Eileen is stunned that someone could hate her that much and throws accusations at Alya Nazir, thinking she could be responsible for the horrific prank.

But it is only when Eileen gets home to find someone has put a brick through her window tonight that she realises things are much more serious that she thought.

It is only at the end of the hour-long special that viewers will discover the true identity of the stalker.

As Eileen is victim of yet another distressing prank call, fans will see the caller lurking in the ginnel… but who hates Eileen so much that they’re making her life such a living nightmare?

Watch Coronation Street tonight at 7.30 on ITV to find out.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
