Sinead struggles with motherhood and rekindles with Daniel on Coronation Street

Temptation comes a-knocking

Poor Sinead hasn’t really taken to suddenly been thrown into mothering at the deep end, bless her.

In fact, she’s found becoming the primary care giver to a grieving five-year-old boy pretty hard going.

While everyone has been trying to make Joseph feel welcome and secure, no one has taken a moment to ask Sinead how she’s coping with the sudden life change.

No one apart from her ex, Daniel Osbourne, that is.

There’s still a clear spark between the former lovers and next week Daniel makes it clear that he wants her back.

When Izzy Armstrong offers to look after her little nephew, Sinead makes the most of her unexpected child-free afternoon and heads to the pub where she gets royally trashed.

Can’t say we blame her, tbh.

Daniel reaches out to her and the pair end up confessing that they still have feelings for each other. But then he tries to kiss her…

How will she react to his move – and what does it mean for her future with Chesney?

She doesn’t have time to think about it because there’s a commotion outside involving Joseph.

The little lad runs into the road and only narrowly avoids being hit by the Bistro car when Robert Preston dives in and takes the impact himself.

Sinead is mortified and Chesney is fuming when Tracy Barlow stirs things up and tells him Sinead was heading up to Daniel’s flat with him before the accident.

He’s even more livid when he sees Daniel comforting Sinead, who blames herself for what could have happened to little Joseph.
