Corrie’s serial-husband Steve McDonald is set to get married for the seventh time when he proposes to girlfriend Tracy Barlow in the coming weeks.
According to rumours, Steve will go down on one knee and pop the question to Tracy, who’s mum to his daughter Amy, after they rekindled their romance at Christmas.
The pair were wed before – in 2012 – but their marriage didn’t last.
And if they make it down the aisle – because, let’s face, nothing’s ever easy in Soapland – it will be Steve’s seventh wedding (well, eighth actually if you count his first wedding to Becky that was cancelled because she was drunk!). And Tracy will become the sixth Mrs McDonald.
Tracy’s no stranger to wedding days either. She was married to Robert Preston way back in the 90s, who’s now engaged to Steve’s ex-wife Michelle, of course.
Then Tracy tied the knot with Steve for the first time in 2012.
She almost made it down the aisle with murderer Rob Donovan before Carla called the cops on her brother and the ceremony was halted.
And now she’s going to say yes to Steve when he proposes.

“In the next few weeks he’s going to be going down on one knee to Tracy, who duly accepts,” a Corrie source told The Sun.
“It’s the seventh time he’s been married, but writers are still to decide if they’ll get down the aisle, as love is never straightforward in Weatherfield.”

It’s thought Steve’s dad – and Corrie icon – Jim could return for the wedding, which will thrill fans who have been calling for him to come back since Liz mentioned him a few weeks ago.
