Coronation Street SPOILER: Steph Britton furiously confronts killer Pat Phelan

Will she be next on his hit list?

This is the moment that Steph Britton takes on evil killer Pat Phelan – but it’s not her brother’s murder she is attacking him for, it’s Andy Carver’s ‘disappearance’.

Still totally in the dark about the fact that both Andy and Luke are victim’s of Phelan’s murdering ways, Wednesday’s trip to Weatherfield sees a very brave (or stupid, we can’t decide!) Steph telling Pat exactly what she thinks of him.

But little does she know both Andy and Luke are dead because of Phelan, and she is taking on a very dangerous man indeed.

The former waitress has no idea that evil Pat kept her ex, Andy, locked up in a basement for a year before killing him and dumping his body in a lake.

She also doesn’t know that the reason Luke is dead is because he worked out what had really happened to his friend, Andy.

But she knows that Phelan’s a wrong’un and is determined to get to the bottom of his lying ways.

Confronting the serial killer on the cobbles, Steph, who is played by Tisha Merry, tells Phelan: “Do not call me sweetheart, or pretend that you give a damn. I know what you’re like, you’re evil and you’re a liar.”

Well, she’s pretty much nailed that on the head – hasn’t she?!

But always the smooth-talker, Phelan tries to worm his way out of her confrontation and patronisingly tells her that it is “just the grief talking”.

But instead of calming the situation, this just riles Steph further and she lets rip into the killer – telling him a few home truths…

“No, I just don’t think I’ve ever had the chance to tell you what I really think if you.

“So you didnt blackmail Andy and you didnt force him into setting the garage on fire? You’re a liar.”

But Phelan isn’t a man to be messed with, and after taking a look around him on the street to make sure no one else is around, he lets his true colours show – and it isn’t pretty…

“Maybe I am, but he’s hardly a saint, is he?” he says, while carefully making sure he talking about dead Andy in the present tense to cover his tracks.

“But one question for you though, if he loves you as much as you think he does, where is he on the day you’re burying your brother?”

Ohh he’s got a nerve that Phelan – has anyone so sinister ever graced the cobbles?

Steph then goes on to confirm that she’s going to be sticking around in Weatherfield for a while – clearly determined to get to the bottom of Andy’s sudden disappearing act.
