Coronation Street SPOILER: Heartbreaking storyline in the works for Craig Tinker

He’s starting to show signs

Coronation Street bosses have got a huge storyline lined up for Craig Tinker, in which we’ll see his obsessive personality start to control his daily life.

He’s spent the summer being Bethany Platt’s trusted sidekick, helping her through her horrendous grooming nightmare at the hands of evil Nathan Curtis.

But brilliant Craig is about to get a big storyline all of his own.

With his obsessive nature already showing, Craig has recently struggled to leave the house unless the clock minutes are showing an even number.

With his clock obsession getting out of control, Craig has even started to be late for work – getting him in trouble with his mentor, Jess.

As Craig’s behaviour continues to get weirder by the day, viewers have been left concerned that he could be suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

Poor Craig’s week goes from bad to worse when a bad day at work leaves him more anxious than ever.

After being called to a disturbance at a shop – Craig’s horrified to discover his mother is involved. But will Craig be forced to arrest his own mum? Or is this just a case of mistaken identity?

After the stress of looking after best friend Bethany throughout her grooming ordeal, and subsequent gruelling trial in court, is it any wonder Craig has been left shaken?

Despite being the one who finally exposed cruel Nathan, Craig starts to doubt his capability at work, wondering if he’s really cut out to be a police officer.

Craig clearly felt the pressure as he gave evidence against Nathan, with Bethany’s future hanging on his ability to say the right things in court. Could that be what’s tipped him over the edge?

He might have been the mastermind behind bringing down one of the most manipulative characters in recent Corrie history – but could his petty criminal mum be the straw that breaks the camel’s back?

Watch Craig’s storyline unfold on Wednesday 1st November at 8:30pm on ITV
