Corrie’s Eva Price clearly hadn’t thought her baby lie through any further than the moment she told it, and when she’s caught out by fiance Aidan Connor over it next week, it sends her into a spin.
He might be falling for every other aspect of her plan, but an incriminating letter could be about to make everything fall apart…
After discovering Aidan was cheating on her with Maria Connor, Eva vowed revenge and decided to take Aidan for every last penny.

Her sister Leanne Battersby is in on the plot, and Adam Barlow is also helping her as he wants to get his hands on Underworld for himself.
Toyah Battersby also discovers the truth this week and although she’s not impressed with someone lying about being pregnant, given how hard she’s struggling to have a child of her own, she clearly hasn’t busted Eva just yet.
Eva’s plot started off slowly, but it built momentum when Adam got involved and now it’s threatening to spiral out of her control.
Things seem to be going well at first, though, when she gets news from Aidan that the sale of their flat has gone through and pair are now proud owners of their own property. That’s one step closer for her to be able to take everything.
But the plan hits a snag when Eva comes home to find her fiance opening a letter and then questioning her why she failed to mention the fact it’s time for their baby’s first scan.

Put on the spot, Eva has to do some quick thinking, and makes out the date has been changed and she’s actually having it in an hour. Well that doesn’t buy you much time, Eva!
Sure it’d be too short notice for him to make it, Aidan insists he’s going with her. (Oops)
She comes up with another excuse and arranges to meet him at the hospital after she’s done what she needs to do.
What she needs to do is stop off to see one of her co-conspirators for some urgent help.
Toyah must be the only one available as that’s who Eva ends up turning to and it’s surprising when the landlady actually agrees to lend a hand. Suggesting they print off a scan photo from the internet in a bid to fool Aidan, Eva thinks she might just be saved.
But with the cheater already on his way to the hospital, we’re not sure how Eva’s going to pull this one off. Will he be stupid enough to fall for it?
And just how much longer can she keep up this plan now the scheming is getting very complicated and very messy?
