Coronation Street SPOILER: Another controversial toyboy lined up for Carla Connor

She's turning into quite the cougar

| Updated:

Carla Connor has only been back on the cobbles for a matter of months but she’s already had tongues wagging over her personal life.

She wasted no time in getting to grips with Daniel Osbourne, the half-brother of her ex-husband Peter Barlow, much to the shock of most of the Street’s residents.

Their steamy liaison came to an end when Carla realised that Daniel’s heart still lay with Sinead Tinker and she set about getting the pair back together.

Carla’s recovering from the kidney transplant operation she had earlier this week, but it won’t be long before she’s back in her heels and prowling Weatherfield for her next victim.

Corrie boss Kate Oates told What’s on TV: “They have great chemistry.

“But like most Weatherfield relationships, this one won’t be straightforward.

“Carla’s very keen to keep it under wraps. She knows that tongues will be wagging if word gets out, and one person in particular will not be pleased at all.”

Intriguing, right?

The only other thing we know is that it’s another younger man, meaning Carla has become a bit of a cougar since her ill-fated marriage to Peter.

It sounds like her new dalliance is set to be even more controversial than her hook-up with Daniel, but who could it be?

Our guess is the new doctor at the medical centre – Ali Neeson.

It would certainly be a questionable move on Carla’s part as her best pal, Michelle Connor, is Ali’s biological mum.

Carla’s kidney has certainly given her a new lease of life – but would she go as far as betraying her longtime best friend?
