Adam Barlow returns to Coronation Street amid Eva’s exit plans

Is romance on the cards for the former couple?

Coronation Street’s Adam Barlow is back in town… but is he going to stick around or leave for good with pregnant Eva Price?

We know Eva is planning her escape from Weatherfield after a few turbulent months. But will she leave a devastated Adam behind – or take him with her?

Pregnant with Aidan Connor’s baby, Eva came close to aborting her unborn child, but changed her mind after a heart-to-heart with best friend Toyah Battersby.

Now, after the breakdown of her marriage, the expectant mum has sets her sights on a new life – alone. But we all know Adam can be very persuasive about getting what he wants…

Can he change her mind?

The last time Eva saw Adam, she was disgusted with him after discovering his cruel actions towards Billy Mayhew.

But Adam seems to be a changed man on his return… and we don’t just mean his smart new hair cut!

In fact, Adam has got some good news for Billy Mayhew. It seems having some time away from Coronation Street has given Adam some time to grow a conscience.

Regretting his actions which have led to Billy’s drug abuse, solicitor Adam agrees to represent Billy when he finds himself in a police cell…

Adam comes clean about everything, and reveals he wants to make up for what he did by helping him out.

Viewers were previously outraged at Adam’s behaviour as he took revenge on Billy after discovering that he was responsible for his mother’s death in a car crash 17 years ago.

Discovering that the vicar had been in the grip of a secret painkiller addiction, he replaced his pills for placebos, secretly fuelling his addiction and increasing his agony.

Is Adam really a changed man, or is he bluffing?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
