Confused Coronation Street viewers point out blunder in last night’s episode

Steve made a big gaffe

| Updated:

EastEnders has come under fire of late for apparent gaffes – Kush walking around so soon after surgery, Jonny’s speedy recovery after being shot – now Coronation Street seems to have missed a big detail, according to viewers.

Some were confused during last night’s episode after they noticed something that didn’t make sense.

Finally Michelle’s stalker Will got what he deserved as Steve punched him in the face.

He saved Michelle from potential violence, as Will had her pinned down.

But after Steve’s heroic efforts, he ran back downstairs and came across an unconscious and bleeding Leanne who had been pushed down the stairs by Will.

Viewers were baffled because he surely would’ve had to have stepped over Leanne to get up the stairs to Michelle?

Many people took to Twitter to express their confusion at the blunder.

One fan said: “So Steve has stepped over Leannes body 2 get 2 Michelle #Legend.”

Another said: “So did Steve McDonald not see Leanne’s body on his way up them stairs.”

A third tweeted: “Steve would have had to have walked past Leanne lying on the stairs when going to Michelle’s aid. Continuity errors.”

“How did Steve miss Leanne if he had to run upstairs to save Michelle?” said a fourth.

“If I was Leanne I’d be having words with Steve after I come home from hospital. Clearly stepped over her to rush to Michelle’s aid,” said a fifth.

At least Will has finally been caught and poor Michelle can be left alone.

We’ve seen Will drug her, put her in the boot of a car and take hundreds of pictures of her which she eventually found.

After the police failed to charge him due to insufficient evidence, when Michelle first reported him, it looks like it’s the end of his reign of terror.

Will Michelle fall for her knight in shining armour, ex Steve, and get back with him?

In other Corrie news, Gemma Winter is set to meet a rich new hunk, but there’s more to him than meets the eye.

When Gemma meets the hunky newcomer, she can’t help but parade him around the Rovers, but Liz McDonald soon realises she’s met this guy before.

It’s then revealed that Gemma’s new love interest is actually heir to the Newton and Ridley fortune, making him a very eligible bachelor indeed.

Liz tells Gemma: “Well you have certainly landed on your feet there lady.” Gemma initially thinks that Liz means he’s hot.

But then Liz tells her he’s the grandson of Cecil Newton, the boss of Newton and Ridley brewery – the man who fell in love with former Rovers landlady Bet Lynch!

But is he all that he seems?
