Celebrity Big Brother star set for sensational return to Soapland

But which village, Square or Street are they headed for?

Celebrity Big Brother contestant Paul Danan has revealed he’s in advanced talks with bosses of his old show Hollyoaks for a big return.

The 39-year-old has told The Sun’s Bizarre column that producers wants him back as Sol Patrick, 16 years after he left the soap.

Speaking at the launch party for Michael Jackson’s posthumous album, Scream, Paul said: “I would like to go back and do a stint on Hollyoaks. Or a bit of EastEnders would be good.

“I’ve been speaking to Hollyoaks and they would love me to come back. They’re just sorting a storyline for Sol to return. It would be nice.

“Gary Lucy and Sarah Dunn have gone back so I don’t know why Sol can’t do a little few months.”

Although he went on to add he wasn’t “desperate to do it because it’s been it, seen it, done it.

“So if it happens, it happens.”

Sol, the stepson of Jack Osborne, was a bit of a tearaway on the soap and went off the rails completely when his mother died of cancer.

He ended up in a relationship with a prostitute when he ran away from home, and then fled the village after pushing her pimp off a balcony.

But with Jack still in town, and Sol’s old flame Mandy Richardson also returning, there could be reason for him to come back.

Paul was in the Celebrity Big Brother house this summer alongside other stars including Sarah Harding, Chad Johnson, and Amelia Lily.

And the actor also hinted to the publication that he and Amelia might be growing closer.

The 39-year-old said: “We like to go out. There could be something there. We really get on.

“I see her a bit more like a sister. But you never know, we get on really well.”

Inside the house Amelia had eyes for Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson. The pair went on a few dates once the show was over, but Sam has now confirmed their romance is over.

Speaking to OK! online while taking part in Cancer Research UK’s Stand Up To Cancer Great Canoe Challenge, Sam said:

“I’m single, unfortunately. It never ended badly with Amelia…I just wanted to take her on a couple of dates and see if we clicked and we did click.

“We had a really good time together, but she’s really busy, I’m really busy. There are outside things as well going on in my life that don’t really make it super easy to be in a relationship.”

Responding to criticism that he’s been leading her on, he said: “Amelia knows I’m not leading her on and she’s absolutely fine, she’s probably going on dates and doing her thing as well as me. We’re cool.”
