He said: “I don’t know what this means, is it real life? This is just amazing! Thank you!”

Admitting it was “slightly ironic” to win CBB’s Year of the Woman, Shane J added: “Thank you to the eight glorious women who were in the house and to all of my other housemates. Those people made it possible, those experiences we had… this is so surreal right now.”

When asked why he won, he said: “It’s amazing to think the public have chosen me, I guess it’s validation that it’s OK to be different.

“I was just having conversations about things I was passionate about.

“You forget about the people watching at home and making their own opinions on the conversations you are having, so I guess they liked the conversations!”

Of course, Emma asked Shane J about his bromance with Andrew Brady, which dominated much of the series.

He said: “Do I have a crush on him? Yeah. As much as he wants! The thing I love about Andrew is he’s just so comfortable with everything and everyone. He knows who he is and feels confident sharing that in an unconventional way, and I respect that.

“I do respect his boundaries and as much as it’s fun to flirt, we had that understanding and only the two of us knew what our relationship was.”

Oh, and he insisted THAT wardrobe malfunction on the way into the CBB house wasn’t planned!

Ann, meanwhile, told Emma she was astounded to be in second place, pointing out she’d turned down the show many times.

“I knew Courtney had a huge amount of support. I’m thoroughly bemused, apparently I’m the runner up in Celebrity Big Brother!” she said.

“It was fine. I definitely enjoyed it more than I thought I would.”

That being said, Ann did admit she found it “terrible” living with so many people in so much noise, especially when Big Brother kept waking the housemates up by playing pop music.

She said: “I’m always quite happy living on my own. I’m dying to go back to living on my own!”
